Today our Year 11 Electrotechnology and Applied Engineering students visited the Pelican Point Power Plant at Outer Harbour. This latest Industry Visit gave the students an opportunity to see how such an important resource like Energy impacts the South Australian economy.
Students were given a tour of the station and control room where that observed practical application of the theory they have learnt in Physics and Maths in a working power station.
Many thanks to Mobile Science Education and the staff at the power plant for their support of our visit, and to Mr Bradley Sheridan for his bus driving skills!
