Class of 2017 Graduation & Awards Dinner

The St Patrick’s Technical College Class of 2017 Graduation & Awards Dinner will be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre on Friday 17 November 2017. This formal night brings together the entire College community to celebrate the achievements and acknowledge the successes of our latest class of graduates.

During the evening, all graduating students will receive their Certificate of Completion plus a formal School Leaver Statement. Where available, students will also receive their TAFE SA Graduation Parchments and Statements of Attainment.

As well as celebrating students’ graduation, our Annual Awards will be presented throughout the evening.Thanks to the generous support of our sponsors, the St Patrick’s Technical College Awards comprise over $10,000 in cash and prizes. Apprentice of the Year and Student of the Year awards are in given in each of the College’s program areas plus major awards that recognise outstanding performances across the entire graduating class.

Event details

Following are the final details of the Class of 2017 Graduation & Awards Dinner. Please note that tickets are not issued for this event. Your table allocations will be displayed at the venue on the evening.

  • Friday 17 November, 2017
  • Adelaide Convention Centre (Halls JK), North Tce, Adelaide
  • Student attendance by 6:30pm sharp for whole group photo
  • Guests seated by 6:50pm
  • Formalities commence at 7pm
  • Event close is 10:30pm
  • 2 course meal + 3 hour soft drink package (7- 10pm) included
  • Alcohol can be purchased – ID will be required
  • Formal dress code applies (see below)


A formal group photograph of the graduating class will be taken at 6:30pm.  Festival City Photography will then be available throughout the night. Please restrict access to photographers during breaks in the formal proceedings only.

Guests will be provided with information on how to purchase images direct from the photographers on the night.

Conduct and dress code

The Graduation & Awards Dinner is an official College event and a formal occasion with a number of invited guests, industry partners and sponsors in attendance. All guests are therefore expected to conduct themselves throughout in a manner commensurate with the formality of the evening.

The dress code for the event is formal (i.e. no jeans or sneakers). Male graduates are expected to wear a jacket and tie; female graduates, cocktail dresses.
