St Patrick’s Technical College is very proud to claim four finalists across three categories at this year’s South Australian Training Awards.
Year 12 students Declan Stanton (Automotive) and Sarah Voigt (Food & Hospitality) are finalists in the School-based Apprentice of the Year category, while Chef Jen Reeves is a contender for the VET Teacher / Trainer of the Year Award.
Rounding out the accolades for St Pat’s is the nomination for the Industry Collaboration Award for our Applied Engineering program’s part in the Advanced Technology in Schools Pathways Project along with a cluster of three DECD schools.
Hosted by the Training and Skills Commission, the SA Training Awards are the peak State Awards celebrating outstanding quality in Vocational Education and Training (VET).
The Awards recognise and celebrate the achievements of apprentices, trainees, VET students, employers, trainers, training organisations and industry.
Winners and finalists will be acknowledged and celebrated at a gala dinner held on Friday 6 September at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
